School-based Adjustment Counselors provide students with formal and informal counseling and support in order to enhance effective instruction in schools.
Adjustment Counselors:
Assist in transitioning students from one school level to another,
Conduct Home Assessments as part of the Special Education eligibility assessment
Work with students and their families to
achieve effective communication and resolution of difficulties
